Memento

This memento was inspired by a remarkable memory. When I was eleven, I moved to Chicago from Hong Kong, and that was the most stressful year I have ever experienced. Since I was not familiar with American culture and English, I was not able to make much friends. I then truly felt disconnected with my surrounding and felt like I was in the wrong place. This sculpture depicts my disconnection.
